Track Reserve is an asset-tracking platform designed to help businesses organize tools and equipment, assign assets to employees and locations, record checkouts and returns, document damage and repairs, and maintain a complete activity history. TrackReserve LLC also offers physical QR asset tags and business supplies through trackreserve.com.
No. You can create and manage assets without physical tags by selecting Add Asset in the application. QR tags make it faster to identify, add and update assets using a phone or computer, but they are not required to use the platform.
No. Software subscriptions and physical QR asset tags are separate purchases. Your subscription determines the platform capacity available to your company, including asset records, users and file storage. Asset tags are purchased separately in the quantity your company needs.
You can purchase either one first. A software plan provides ongoing access to the Track Reserve platform. Physical tags add QR scanning and a durable printed identifier to individual assets. Companies that want both can select a software plan and order the appropriate quantity of tags.
Visit app.trackreserve.com. When your company account is provisioned, the primary administrator receives an invitation by email. First-time users create a password and accept the invitation before signing in. Additional employees must be invited by an authorized company administrator.
If the asset has a Track Reserve QR tag, scan the QR code or enter the complete number printed on the tag. You can then create a new asset or assign the tag to an existing asset. For an untagged item, select Add Asset and enter its information manually.
For the best results, include the manufacturer, model, serial number, condition, location, purchase information, replacement value, photos and relevant documents.
A company administrator can open the Team area, enter the employee’s individual email address and select the appropriate role. Each employee should use their own account rather than sharing login credentials. Roles and permissions determine what each person can view or change.
Move any remaining assets to their new locations, then retire the jobsite. Retiring a location removes it from normal active-location selections while preserving its historical activity. This allows companies to keep accurate records without maintaining closed jobsites as active locations.
An authorized user can record that the repair is complete and return the asset to Available status. Repair notes and previous condition changes remain in the asset’s history, providing a record of what happened and when it returned to service.
An unauthenticated person is shown a limited public recovery page rather than your company’s private asset records. They can submit a found-item report so an authorized company administrator can review the information and respond appropriately.
Additional tag batches can be ordered through trackreserve.com. New tags receive their own printed tag numbers and secure QR codes. When replacing a tag, the asset retains its permanent asset number and history while the replacement tag is associated with that asset.
Monthly plans are billed each month, while annual plans are billed once per year. Both options provide access according to the selected Starter, Team, Business or Enterprise tier. The plans differ by asset capacity, number of users and file storage. Physical asset tags are purchased separately.
